The magic begins October 12 and continues through October 13, 2013 for Harry Potter fans of all ages! The historical Loveland Castle in Loveland, Ohio, also known as Chateau Laroche in Symmes Township, will transform into Hogwarts Castle for one magical weekend.

Come to see a live exhibition featuring many of your favorite Harry Potter characters. Take classes such as Transfiguration and Potions with Hogwarts professors, see performances which will entertain and amaze you, learn the magic behind Muggle science with the Headmaster himself, make your own House tie, get sorted, drink some Butter Beer, and much, much more!

Entry is $8 for children and $12 for adults (cash) at the door. Please note the ticket is for one day only. For all ages - the young and the young at heart!
This event is Family Friendly, but please be advised the castle is authentic and not child proof. Argus Filch will be on the lookout for unattended under-age witches & wizards!

The Knights of the Golden Trail and Loveland Castle are registered non profit organizations. A portion of the proceeds will go towards various charities with a specific donation to the Alzheimer's Association.

House Sortings: Will the sorting hat place you in Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin?
Craft Alley: Make a Hogwarts tie, color a scene from your favorite book series, and try some games and puzzles that will stump even the most studious Ravenclaw.
Scavenger Hunt: Where in the castle will your search take you? Complete for a prize.
Photography: Professional photographers will be on hand to capture memories.
Explore the Herbology gardens and see the exotic plants.

Wands at different price points ranging from $3 to $15 and other wares from the Wizard World will be available for purchase. Which wand will choose you? Just remember to trade in those galleons & sickles for Muggle money!

Wizard Magic & Muggle Science with Albus Dumbledore:
Dumbledore will astound with some of his very favorite magic acts, and then share the secret of the science behind them.

Dueling & Daring Tales with Gilderoy Lockhart:
Not only will Gilderoy Lockhart teach brave students the art of dueling, he will also choose a few lucky volunteers to bring some of his most daring acts to life.

Readings with Professor Snape:
Listen as the distinguished Professor Snape reads some of his favorite stories from "Tales of Beedle the Bard."

Discussions with Severus Snape:
A chance for the mature crowd to talk about some some of the deeper topics in the Harry Potter series.

TriWizard Performers:
The lovely ladies of Beauxbatons Academy along with their Headmistress, Madame Maxime, will journey from France to perform and dance for the students of Hogwarts. The Proud Sons of Durmstrang will journey for the first time to Ohio to share their impressive acrobatic and combat skills.

Hogwarts Frog Choir:
The choir will entertain guests with songs from both students and amphibians.

Dance Against the Dark Arts:
Discover how dance can be used to tell stories in a fun and interactive workshop. No experience required.

Magic of Music:
Musicians will sing songs about the world of Harry Potter.

Care of Magical Creatures:
Talk about the fantastic beasts in the Wizarding World and maybe take one home.

Potions Class:
Attend a potions class and brew a special creation.

Relics from the Room of Requirement with Professor Dumbledore:Wizards World 101-Magical Devices. The wizarding world is filled with enchanted objects, bewitched items, and magical devices. Test your knowledge of various items and score points for your house!

Schedule: The official schedule will be released on the Facebook page. Due to the limited parking and space, several performances will repeat in the morning and afternoon sessions. This will allow for attendees to have a magical experience without having to attend the entire day.

*Tip: Space inside some of the rooms in the castle is limited. For the live exhibits which are held indoors, the morning and late afternoon tend to be less crowded.

Parking: There is a parking lot for the castle, but please be aware the parking lot is sometimes near capacity between 1 and 2PM. There is no additional charge for parking. Parking on the road is prohibited.
